* NCAA National Champions:� 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997.

* LSU is one of only four schools to win four CWS titles. Only LSU and USC have won four in one decade.

� * 10 CWS Appearances in the Last 13 Years: 1986, �87, �89, �90, �91, �93, �94, �96, �97, �98.

* LSU is the only school in the country with seven CWS appearances in the 1990s.

� * 17-1 Record on Championship Day in NCAA Tournament Competition. LSU has never lost in the final round of an NCAA regional or sub-regional or in the championship game of the CWS.

� * Highest All-Time NCAA Tournament Winning Percentage LSU has a 73-25 record and a .745 winning percentage in regional and CWS games combined.

� * 12 Southeastern Conference Championships LSU has six SEC titles in the 1990s. The Tigers won an unprecedented four straight league crowns from 1990-93.

� * Eight 50-Win Seasons. Six of LSU's 50-win seasons have come in the 1990s. No other SEC school has more than three 50-win seasons.

� * 12 First-Team All-Americans in the Last 11 Seasons. First baseman Eddy Furniss earned the 1998 Dick Howser Award as the college baseball player of the year.

� * 34 Major League Players. LSU has produced 21 big-leaguers since 1985, including Albert Belle (White Sox) and Todd Walker (Twins).

� * The Nation's Best Attendance. LSU drew 232,537 fans to Alex Box Stadium in 1998 to lead the USA in attendance for the third straight season.
